<reference>720 ILCS 570/405.4 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act. Provides that a person who knows or should know that one or more specified controlled substance violations are being committed from, upon, or in residential property he or she owns, manages, or controls that has been physically altered to increase the number of living units therein in violation of any applicable building codes is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and the residential property is subject to forfeiture. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
