<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>625 ILCS 5/6-206</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-206</aliasreference><reference>625 ILCS 5/11-202</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-202</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that whenever a driver of the motor vehicle is involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in personal injury to a pedestrian with 500 feet of the entrance to a school, place of worship, child care institution, or hospital, and the driver is guilty of any offense against laws and ordinances regulating the movement of traffic for the same conduct, the minimum fine for the first offense is $250. Provides that for a second or subsequent violation, the minimum fine is $750, and the Secretary of State may suspend the a operator's driver's license for 90 days. Effective January 1, 2010.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
