Subject to appropriation from the Illinois Service Education Award Grant Fund, a special fund created in the State treasury, allows the Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service to award an Illinois Service Education Award Grant to recipients of a national service educational award awarded by the Corporation for National Community Service, which grant must be awarded only as a partial matching grant. Provides that an individual who successfully completes a required term of full-time national service in an approved national service position in this State may apply to receive a grant.
