<reference>735 ILCS 5/2-202</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 110, par. 2-202</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Code of Civil Procedure by providing that an order appointing a private process server in a county with a population less than 2 million (instead of 1 million) must list the name of the specific person authorized to make the service; multiple names or blank authorization may not be allowed unless the person is licensed as a private detective or is employed by a detective agency licensed by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation under the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004. The court may not appoint a private person who represents himself as a private process service company unless the person is licensed as a private detective agency by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation under the Private Detective, Private Alarm, Private Security, Fingerprint Vendor, and Locksmith Act of 2004.
