Includes in the definition of "sex offense", criminal transmission of HIV when the offender knew that he or she was infected with HIV and engaged in intimate contact with another.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Committee Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<reftype>Adds reference to:</reftype><reference>720 ILCS 5/12-16.2</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 38, par. 12-16.2</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 concerning the offense of criminal transmission of HIV. Provides that "intimate contact with another" means the exposure of the body of one person to a bodily fluid of another person in a manner that could result in the transmission of HIV as determined by the medical judgment of a physician.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
