| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of Mary Jane Buddig of Burr Ridge, who |
| 4 |
| passed away on May 6, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born in Chicago on August 29, 1927; she |
| 6 |
| grew up in Beverly, graduated from Morgan Park High School, and |
| 7 |
| received her Bachelors degree from DePauw University where she |
| 8 |
| met her husband; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She loved spending time with her kids and |
| 10 |
| grandkids on Indian Lake in Dowagiac, Michigan, where she spent |
| 11 |
| her childhood summers with her parents and brothers; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert |
| 13 |
| C.; and her brothers, David and Robert Brittain; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, She was the loving and devoted mother of Tom |
| 15 |
| (Lex), Karen (Mike) Noble, Robert (Mary), Tim (Heidi), and |
| 16 |
| Roger (Barbara); and the fond grandmother of 13 grandchildren, |
| 17 |
| Katherine, Elizabeth, James, Sarah, Jennifer, Harris, Erin, |
| 18 |
| Benjamin, Margaret, Hannah, Robert, Carl, and Samantha; |
