SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
Edward Tetzner of Chicago; and

 
4
    WHEREAS, Edward Tetzner was a retired Captain of the  
5
Chicago Fire Department and a  member of Local 2; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, Edward Tetzner served his country proudly in the 
7
United States Army; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Edward Tetzner was a loyal member of B.O.B. and 
9
the Gaelic Fire Brigade; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Edward Tetzner was the beloved husband of Therese, 
11
nee McDermott; he was the loving father of Cara, Jason, and 
12
Lauren; he was the cherished grandfather of Dylan; he was the 
13
dear brother of Betty (the late Gary) Frelich and Susan (Larry) 
14
Burchill; and he was the fond uncle to Cher, Bridget, Dan, 
15
Erin, Matt, and the McDermott and Murphy families; and
 
16
    WHEREAS, Edward Tetzner will be remembered by all who knew 
17
and loved him as a brave and proud man who loved to share time 
18
with his children and his friends; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

his family and friends, the passing of Edward Tetzner; and be 
3
it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5
presented to the family of Edward Tetzner as an expression of 
6
our sympathy.
