SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Master Sergeant David E. Sutton of Twenty Nine Palms, California, formerly of Girard, who passed away on May 9, 2007; and

WHEREAS, David Sutton was born May 22, 1970 in Carlinville, the son of Gary E. and Glenda M. Bilbruck Sutton; he married Nancy Espineli on October 17, 1991; and

WHEREAS, David Sutton was a 1988 graduate of Girard High School and received his bachelor's degree from Chapman University in Orange, California; and

WHEREAS, David Sutton served as a member of the United States Marine Corps for over 18 years; and

WHEREAS, David Sutton was preceded in death by his father; his grandfather, James W. Bilbruck; and his aunt, Judy A. Sutton; and

WHEREAS, The passing of David Sutton will be deeply felt by all those who knew and loved him, especially his wife, Nancy; his sons, Jordan T. Sutton and Peyton T. Sutton; his daughter, Taylor C. Sutton; his mother and stepfather, Glenda M. and Vernon England; his sister, Wendy M. McGown; his grandparents, Opal Bilbruck and Vernie and Hester Sutton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of David E. Sutton; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of David Sutton as a symbol of our sympathy.
