| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of M. Ethelind Hohf of Waukegan, who passed |
| 4 |
| away on February 24, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Ehtelind Hohf was born on October 2, 1912 in |
| 6 |
| Menno, South Dakota; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Ethelind Hohf was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran |
| 8 |
| Church of Waukegan; she retired as a teacher from North Chicago |
| 9 |
| High School, where she was the director of the office |
| 10 |
| occupations program and taught typing, bookkeeping, shorthand, |
| 11 |
| and business; she also taught school at Palatine and Deerfield |
| 12 |
| High Schools; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Ethelind Hohf enjoyed playing cards, ballroom |
| 14 |
| dancing, and bowling; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. |
| 16 |
| Arnold Hohf; her four sisters, and her two brothers; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Ethelind Hohf is survived by her children, Elleen |
| 18 |
| (Michael) McFadden, and Michael (Vicki); her grandchildren, |
| 19 |
| Patrick (Melodie) McFadden, Kimberly (Derek) Edwards, David |
| 20 |
| and Alexandra; and her four great-grandchildren; therefore, be |
