SENATE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to  
3
learn of the death of
John Thomas Kelly of Kalamazoo, Michigan, 
4
formerly of LaGrange Park, who passed away on March 19, 2007; 
5
and

 
6
    WHEREAS, John Thomas Kelly was born on June 27, 1951 in Oak 
7
Park; his parents were Michael J. and Patricia Barrett Kelly; 
8
and

 
9
    WHEREAS, John Thomas Kelly was president of a plastics 
10
company and the past president of the American Plastics 
11
Association; and

 
12
    WHEREAS, John Thomas Kelly was preceded in death by his 
13
parents; his brothers, Lawrence and Joseph; and his 
14
brother-in-law, Stephen Wielgus; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, John Thomas Kelly is survived by his daughters, 
16
Katy (Jeremy) Martin and Amy Kelly; his brothers, Michael 
17
(Barb), Willie (Kim), and Jim (Patti); his sisters, Mary Sue 
18
Wielgus, Maryanne Kelly, Nonie (Mike) Broski, and Patty 
19
(Stuart) Murray; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL

ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

his family and friends, the passing of John Thomas Kelly; and

of our sympathy.
