| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 |
| learn of the death of
Sue Montgomery of Herrin, who passed away |
| 4 |
| on April 8, 2007; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Sue Montgomery was born on October 22, 1932 in |
| 6 |
| Poplar Bluff, Missouri; her parents were Cassius Marcus and |
| 7 |
| Edythe Alene (Bynum) Wolpers; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She married Ellis R. Montgomery on April 24, 1954, |
| 9 |
| in Jackson, Mississippi; together they shared over 52 years of |
| 10 |
| marriage; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lindsey and |
| 12 |
| husband, Darren; her grandson, Zackery Lindsey; her sister, Joy |
| 13 |
| Brown; her brother, Jerry and Ninky Wolpers; her sister-in-law, |
| 14 |
| Thelma Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews;
she was |
| 15 |
| preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ellis R. |
| 16 |
| Montgomery; and her daughter, Susan Montgomery; therefore, be |
| 17 |
| it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with |
