HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to honor the Routt Catholic High 
4
School Girls Basketball Team on an outstanding season; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, The team from Routt Catholic High School was the 
6
outstanding Class A basketball team in the Jacksonville area 
7
throughout the 2006-2007 basketball season; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, Their incredible season culminated in a third 
9
place finish at the Girls Illinois High School Association 
10
Class A State Tournament at the Redbird Arena at Illinois State 
11
University the weekend of February 23-24, 2007; and

 
12
    WHEREAS, The Lady Rockets represented their school and the 
13
community of Jacksonville in an exemplary manner, deserving of 
14
recognition; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, Members of this fine team include Katie Lindsey, 
16
Jaclyn Meado, Megan Martin, Melissa Nichols, Morgan Eilering, 
17
Liz Standley, Haley Leefers, April Little, Samantha 
18
Humgartner, Brittany Zenge, and Lauren Gregory; and

 
19
    WHEREAS, The Lady Rockets were coached by Bruce Martin and 
20
Joe Eilering, and finished the season with an outstanding

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
3
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
4
congratulate the Lady Rockets Basketball Team from Routt 
5
Catholic High School on an incredible season; and be it further

 
6
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7
presented to the Lady Rockets Basketball Team from Routt 
8
Catholic High School.
