| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5141

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5141 on page 2, by |

| replacing lines 9 through 18 with the following: |

| "hour, and from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 every |
| 5 |
| employer shall pay to each of his or her employees who is 18 |
| 6 |
| years
of age or older in every occupation wages of not less |
| 7 |
| than $7.75 per hour, and from July 1, 2009 through August 31, |
| 8 |
| 2009 June 30, 2010 every employer shall pay to each of his or |
| 9 |
| her employees who is 18 years
of age or older in every |
| 10 |
| occupation wages of not less than $8.00 per hour, and from |
| 11 |
| September 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 every employer shall |

| pay to each of his or her employees in every
occupation wages |

| of not less than $8.00 per hour, and on and after July 1, 2010 |

| every"; and

| on page 6, lines 9 and 10 by changing "January 1, 2009" to |
| 16 |
| "September 1, 2009".
