| 1 | AN ACT concerning civil law.

| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding | ||||||
| 5 | Section 25-5-15 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (735 ILCS 30/25-5-15 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 25-5-15. Quick-take; City of Champaign. Quick-take | ||||||
| 8 | proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a period of no | ||||||
| 9 | more than one year after the effective date of this amendatory | ||||||
| 10 | Act of the 95th General Assembly by the City of Champaign for | ||||||
| 11 | the acquisition of the following properties for the purpose of | ||||||
| 12 | drainage and other improvements related to the Boneyard Creek | ||||||
| 13 | Project, including right of way, permanent easements, and | ||||||
| 14 | temporary easements: | ||||||
