<reference>10 ILCS 5/25-7</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 46, par. 25-7</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Election Code. When the Governor appoints a special election to fill a congressional vacancy, requires that the Governor appoint the primary and election days within 10 days after the vacancy occurs, after consultation with the clerks of the affected counties and the State board of Elections (now, the Governor, within 5 days after the vacancy occurs, appoints a day within 115 days for the special election).</SynopsisText></synopsis>
