<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>735 ILCS 5/8-1212 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that a copy of a bill for services rendered that has any payments or benefits conferred by a collateral source redacted and that is certified by a person who maintains those bills is entitled to a rebuttable presumption as to the amount and reasonableness of the bill. Provides that a party who attempts to rebut the presumption of reasonableness of a bill shall not be allowed to present evidence of payments made for or benefits conferred upon the plaintiff by a collateral source. Provides that these procedures concerning a bill for services apply to actions commenced or pending on or after the effective date. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
