Creates the Health Data Task Force in the Department of Public Health. Sets out the contents of the plan and the composition of the Task Force. Provides that the Task Force shall contract with an independent, not-for-profit organization in developing the plan. Provides that the Department of Public Health, with cooperation from specified State agencies, is primarily responsible for providing staff and administrative support to the Task Force. Provides that the State agencies represented on the Task Force shall review their health data, data collection, and dissemination policies for opportunities to coordinate and integrate data and make it available within and outside State government. Makes suggestions about which existing data infrastructure may be used to implement the Act. Provides that the Task Force shall produce a plan focusing on assuring access to improving the quality of data necessary to understand health disparities.
