<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>New Act</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Creates the Fur Labeling Act. Provides that no person shall sell or offer or display for sale a fur product, regardless of the price of the fur product or the amount or value of the animal fur, without having attached and conspicuously displayed a tag or label including the names of the animals that produced the animal fur and the name of the country of origin of any imported animal furs used in the fur product. Contains provisions regarding: labeling; penalties; preemption; and other matters. Effective 90 days after becoming law.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
