Provides that an emergency prescription for a Schedule II controlled substance that is filled by a mail-order pharmacy must be verified by a written prescription within 14 (rather than 7) days.House Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to:720 ILCS 570/309Deletes the provisions of the bill relating to the filling of oral prescriptions. Provides that any written prescription for a Schedule II controlled substance (not just mail-order prescriptions) may be filled within 90 (rather than 7) days after issuance.
