<reference>235 ILCS 5/6-16</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 43, par. 131</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. In a provision concerning the penalty for the sale or delivery of alcoholic liquor to another person under the age of 21, provides that anyone who violates the provision is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and the sentence shall include, but shall not be limited to a fine of not less than $1,000 (instead of $500) for a first offense and not less that $3,000 (instead of $2,000) for a second or subsequent offense. Provides that any person who knowingly violates the provision is guilty of a Class 3 (instead of Class 4) felony if a death occurs as the result of the violation. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
