Provides for the certification and registration of closed loop contractors by the Department. Amends the Water Well and Pump Installation Contractor's License Act to make a technical and a related change. Makes related changes.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 2</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>In the Illinois Water Well Construction Code, removes a provision that requires the Department of Public Health to establish the time and schedule of the closed loop contractor's exam and the qualifications for the closed loop contractor's certification by rule. Provides that the Department shall collect a $50 fee for the closed loop contractor's qualification exam (instead of just a fee). Provides that the Department shall collect an annual closed loop contractor registration fee of $25 (instead of just annual registration fees). Makes the bill effective immediately (instead of July 1, 2008).</SynopsisText></synopsis>
