Makes a technical change in a Section concerning a school building code.House Amendment No. 2 Deletes reference to:105 ILCS 5/2-3.12Adds reference to:105 ILCS 5/10-20.46 newDeletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the School Code. Encourages school boards to develop and pursue projects that meet the eligibility criteria specified by the Safe Routes to School Construction Program under the Department of Transportation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois and that are otherwise in conformity with applicable provisions of the School Code. Allows these projects to be financed with available unrestricted funds of the school district. Allows a school board to transfer funds as provided in the School Code to finance projects for these purposes.
