<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>625 ILCS 5/7-310</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 7-310</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that, if the driver's license of a person who has petitioned for a discharge in bankruptcy remains suspended because of a debt to a governmental agency in an amount of $2,400 or more, the Secretary of State may issue the person a restricted driving permit if (i) the person is engaged in a payment plan determined by the Secretary and (ii) the terms of the payment plan call for repayment of the entire debt within a period not longer than 36 months. Provides that the Secretary shall cancel the restricted driving permit if the person fails to follow the terms of the payment plan.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Fiscal Note (Office of the Secretary of State)</synopsistitle>
