Provides for the temporary licensure of funeral directors and embalmers registered or licensed under the laws of any other state or territory of the United States in the event of any occurrence that results in a shortage of licensed funeral directors and embalmers in any part of Illinois. Provides for the temporary authorization to practice funeral directing or funeral directing and embalming of applicants who hold an active, unencumbered license in good standing in another jurisdiction and who apply for licensure under the Act due to a natural disaster or catastrophic event in another jurisdiction. <SynopsisText>Provides that the temporary authorization to practice funeral directing or funeral directing and embalming may be granted to a person who applies for a license under the Funeral Directors and Embalmers Licensing Code due to a natural disaster or catastrophic event (instead of a natural disaster or catastrophic event in another jurisdiction).</SynopsisText></synopsis>
