<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>105 ILCS 5/21-25</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 21-25</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code. Provides that upon completion of at least 80 hours of continuing professional development approved by the State Board of Education, a person who holds a valid school service personnel certificate shall have his or her certificate renewed for a period of 5 years. Provides that a person who holds an active school service personnel certificate or has national certification shall be deemed to have satisfied the continuing professional development requirements established by the State Board of Education and the State Teacher Certification Board to renew a school service personnel certificate. Effective July 1, 2007.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
