| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |

| learned with regret of the death of David Owen Fogle of Energy |

| on Thursday, July 21, 2005; and

| WHEREAS, He was born on December 29, 1949, in Herrin to |
| 6 |
| William and Mary Ann (Hiscox) Fogle; as a youth, he attended |
| 7 |
| First Christian Church in Herrin; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Fogle was the owner and operator of Wye Supply |
| 9 |
| on Old Illinois 13 in Marion; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of David Owen Fogle has been deeply |
| 11 |
| felt by many, especially his sisters and brother-in-law, Alice |
| 12 |
| and Donald Black, Dorothy Lewis, and Billie Louthan; his nieces |
| 13 |
| and nephews, Leslie Black and his wife Nancy, Kim Spencer and |
| 14 |
| her husband Dennis, Marianne Cowan and her husband Steve, Jodi |
| 15 |
| Smith and her husband Ken, Nick Lewis, David Allen Lewis, |
| 16 |
| Jennifer Hopfinger and her husband Chris, and Alison Louthan; |
| 17 |
| his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chris Cowan, Tierney |
| 18 |
| Cowan, Austin Black, Lindsay Black, Jill Black, Scott Smith, |
| 19 |
| Misty Smith, Tina Smith, Denise Ridgway and her husband Nathan, |

| Laura Spencer, Lisa Spencer, and Lucas Hopfinger; his |

| great-great-nephew and great-great-nieces, Colbie Ridgway, |

| Macie Ridgway, and Shalyn South; his uncle and aunt, Goble and |

| Annabell Fogle; and his close friends, Ralph "Skip" Haught, |

| Phillip Stucker, Greg Newbold, and Pat Wills; he was preceded |
