| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of James Coffel of |
| 4 |
| Christopher on July 9, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Coffel was born April 3, 1936, in Sesser to |
| 6 |
| Burl and Evelyn (Green) Coffel; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He was a Marine veteran, having served in Korea; |
| 8 |
| he had worked at I.C.C. Railroad; he was a good pool player and |
| 9 |
| golfer; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of James Coffel is felt by all who |
| 11 |
| knew and loved him, especially his children, Cindy Coffel, |
| 12 |
| Scott and Donita Coffel, and Theresa Mullins; his |
| 13 |
| grandchildren, Lacy Roth, Jesse Mullins, Alyson Coffel, and |
| 14 |
| Amanda Dellow; his great-grandchildren, Morgan and Nolan |
| 15 |
| Dellow; his brothers, Bob Coffel and Charles Coffel; and his |
| 16 |
| special nephew, Ron Coffel; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 |
| James Coffel and extend our sincerest condolences to his family |
| 20 |
| and friends; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 23 |
| sympathy.
