| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Dean J. Seger of North |
| 4 |
| Chicago on Wednesday, April 28, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on November 29, 1946, in Waukegan; he |
| 6 |
| married Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Alfano) on January 18, 1969; he |
| 7 |
| was employed by Andrew Pucin Distributors from 1969 to 1989 |
| 8 |
| when he retired for medical reasons; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Seger was a member of Teamsters Union #301 and |
| 10 |
| Waukegan Moose Lodge #706; he was an avid golfer before |
| 11 |
| retirement and a lifelong sports fan; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Dean J. Seger has been deeply felt |
| 13 |
| by many, especially his wife, Betty; his sons, Dean Seger, |
| 14 |
| Scott Seger, and Ken Seger; his granddaughter, Melissa; his |
| 15 |
| mother, Margaret Carney Seger; his sisters, Marilyn Carney and |
| 16 |
| Cathy (Wayne) Morrissey; his brothers, Irv (Annie) Seger and |
| 17 |
| Pat Seger; and his many nieces and nephews; he was preceded in |
| 18 |
| death by his father, Irv Seger; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 21 |
| Dean J. Seger, and we extend our sincerest condolences to his |
| 22 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 23 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
