| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Hazel Graul of Herrin on |
| 4 |
| Thursday, June 9, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on September 7, 1918 in Herrin to |
| 6 |
| Ernest and Elizabeth (Mason) Trout; she married Gene Graul on |
| 7 |
| May 11, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri; he preceded her in |
| 8 |
| death on September 16, 1999; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Graul was a homemaker and belonged to Second |
| 10 |
| Baptist Church in Herrin; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Hazel Graul has been deeply felt by |
| 12 |
| many, especially her grandson, Brad Graul and wife Karen; her |
| 13 |
| grandson, Bruce Graul and wife Natalie; her |
| 14 |
| great-grandchildren, Alison Graul, Keith Walker, and Brocton |
| 15 |
| and Ryleigh Graul; her sister, Helen Moore; her sister and |
| 16 |
| brother-in-law, Susie and Pete Avripas; her daughter-in-law, |
| 17 |
| Brenda Dale; and her many nieces and nephews; she was preceded |
| 18 |
| in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Ron Graul; her |
| 19 |
| grandson, Jeffrey Scott Graul; her brothers, Tom and Jack |
| 20 |
| Trout; and her sister, Betty Bird; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 22 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 23 |
| Hazel Graul, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, |
| 24 |
| friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
|
| 25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our sincerest |
| 27 |
| condolences.
