| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
|
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Wilma Hyatt of
Pekin on |
| 4 |
| May 7, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Hyatt was born May 14, 1924, in Roseville, to |
| 6 |
| Frank J. and Edith Enfield Schumm; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She married John Kenneth Hyatt on July 29, 1942, |
| 8 |
| in Pekin; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was a homemaker; she was a member of First
|
| 10 |
| Christian Church; she belonged to the Women of the Moose, was |
| 11 |
| active in Pekin bowling leagues, and volunteered at Pekin |
| 12 |
| Hospital for many years; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Wilma Hyatt is felt by all who knew |
| 15 |
| and loved her, especially her daughter, Wilanna (Rex) Thorpe; |
| 16 |
| her son, Larry (Sandy) Hyatt; and her grandchildren and |
| 17 |
| great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 19 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
|
| 20 |
| Wilma Hyatt and extend our sincerest condolences to
her family, |
| 21 |
| friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
|
| 23 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest
|
| 24 |
| sympathy.
