| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
|

| learned with sadness of the death of Nadine Erwin of
Benton on |
| 4 |
| May 8, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Erwin was born August 20, 1925, in |
| 6 |
| Whittington, to O.H. and Nellie (Blanton) Pearson; she married |
| 7 |
| Charles Erwin May 24, 1941; they had three children, Donnie, |
| 8 |
| Linda, and Diane; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church |
| 10 |
| in Benton; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, She worked for 21 years at Joan-Claire Dress |
| 12 |
| Factory in Benton; she also worked at Franklin Hospital and |
| 13 |
| Wal-Mart; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, She was a member of the Sunshine Ladies and a |
| 15 |
| former member of Shawnee Sams and Rend Lake Ramblers Company |
| 16 |
| Clubs; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, |
| 18 |
| and brothers, William Pearson and Gale Pearson; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Erwin is survived by many friends and family |
| 20 |
| who mourn her passing, especially her children, Donnie Erwin, |
| 21 |
| Linda Erwin, and Diane Bennett and husband, Donnie; her sister, |
| 22 |
| Jean Bain and husband, Robert; her sister-in-law, Edith Taylor; |
| 23 |
| her brother-in-law, John Clark Jr. and wife, Mary Lou; and her |
| 24 |
| grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews; |
| 25 |
| therefore, be it
