| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, During the 93rd General Assembly, the Senate Task |
| 3 |
| Force on Illinois Alcoholic Beverage Laws was established |
| 4 |
| pursuant to Senate Resolution 645 for the purpose of examining |
| 5 |
| whether Illinois laws regulating the importation of alcoholic |
| 6 |
| beverages may be in jeopardy of being held invalid due to |
| 7 |
| preferential treatment granted toward Illinois wine makers; |
| 8 |
| and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Further work is needed on these issues;
therefore, |
| 10 |
| be it
|
| 11 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 12 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the Senate Task Force |
| 13 |
| on Illinois Alcoholic Beverage Laws is extended; and be it |
| 14 |
| further
|
| 15 |
| RESOLVED, That the Senate Task Force on Illinois Alcoholic |
| 16 |
| Beverage Laws shall submit a report, as
established in its |
| 17 |
| authorizing resolution, on or before
August 15, 2005; and be it |
| 18 |
| further
|
| 19 |
| RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the Senate |
| 20 |
| Task Force on Illinois Alcoholic Beverage Laws shall continue |
| 21 |
| to operate pursuant to its enabling
resolution.
