| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Paul Raymond Swanson of |
| 4 |
| Princeton on March 7, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Swanson was born September 2, 1937, in |
| 6 |
| Princeton, the son of Raymond D. and Zelma (Dremann) Swanson; |
| 7 |
| and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a graduate of Princeton High School, the |
| 9 |
| University of Miami, and Lewis University; he also graduated |
| 10 |
| from Riddle Aviation School in Miami; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He was an Air Force veteran and had been a member |
| 12 |
| of the Air Force Reserve; he had flown as a commercial pilot |
| 13 |
| and had worked at LCN in Princeton and farmed near Princeton; |
| 14 |
| and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Paul Raymond Swanson is felt by all |
| 17 |
| who knew and loved him, especially his son, Paul R. Swanson |
| 18 |
| Jr.; his four grandchildren; his brother, Glen L. Swanson; and |
| 19 |
| his nieces and nephew; therefore, be it
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 22 |
| Paul Raymond Swanson and extend our sincerest condolences to |
| 23 |
| his family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 24 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 26 |
| sympathy.
