| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| were grieved to learn of the death of Marilyn Vespa Yeley of |
| 4 |
| Springfield on Thursday, February 10, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born March 4, 1943, in Springfield, the |
| 6 |
| daughter of Joseph and Della Vespa; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Yeley graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and |
| 8 |
| attended Springfield College; she was a homemaker; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Marilyn Vespa Yeley has been deeply |
| 10 |
| felt by many, especially her sons, Brian (wife, Adele), Kevin |
| 11 |
| (wife, Amy), and Michael (wife, Melissa) McFadden; her five |
| 12 |
| grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her mother, Della |
| 13 |
| Ferry; her brother, Conrad Vespa; and her three nieces and |
| 14 |
| nephews; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 16 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that even while we mourn the |
| 17 |
| passing of Marilyn Vespa Yeley, we celebrate and give thanks |
| 18 |
| for the life that she lived and the lives that she touched, and |
| 19 |
| we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and all |
| 20 |
| who knew and loved her; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our sincere |
| 23 |
| condolences.
