| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois wish to congratulate Donald L. Maue, Mayor of |
| 4 |
| Breese, on being elected Illinois Municipal League President |
| 5 |
| for 2005-2006; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mayor Maue is the husband of Julia and the father |
| 7 |
| of five children; he has eleven grandchildren; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Maue has served as Mayor of Breese since 1989; |
| 9 |
| he was first elected alderman in 1975; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mayor Maue has served on the Breese Chamber of |
| 11 |
| Commerce, the Knights of Columbus, and the Breese Historical |
| 12 |
| Society; he is the president of the Illinois Tax Increment |
| 13 |
| Association, where he served as secretary from 1997 to 2004; |
| 14 |
| and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Mayor Maue has received the Public Service Award |
| 16 |
| from the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency; he is on the |
| 17 |
| American Public Power Honor Roll; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, Mayor Maue has served on the Illinois Municipal |
| 19 |
| League Board of Directors since 2001 and the League's Executive |
| 20 |
| Committee since 2003; he was elected Illinois Municipal League |
| 21 |
| President at the organization's ninety-second annual |
| 22 |
| conference; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 25 |
| we congratulate Mayor Donald L. Maue on becoming the 2005-2006 |
| 26 |
| President of the Illinois Municipal League; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
