AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2067

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2067 on page 12, by 
3
replacing line 25 with the following:
4
"Act, the court shall determine at the sentencing hearing 
5
whether to order registration, and"; and

 
6
on page 13, line 23, by replacing "Ninety" with "No less than 
7
90"; and
 
8
on page 13, by replacing lines 25 through 27 with the 
9
following:
10
"to subsection (a) of this Section, the"; and
 
11
on page 13, by replacing lines 30 through 36 with the 
12
following:
13
    "(d) The court may, upon a hearing on the petition for 
14
continuation of registration, extend registration and 
15
determine which, if any, conditions of registration shall apply 
16
if the court finds that the registrant poses a serious risk to 
17
the community by clear and convincing evidence based on the 
18
factors set forth in subsection (e)."; and
 
19
on page 14, by deleting lines 1 through 5; and
 
20
on page 15, by replacing lines 3 through 7 with the following:
21
"amendatory Act of the 94th General Assembly.  On or after the

effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General

Assembly, the adjudicated juvenile delinquent may request a 
3
hearing regarding status of registration by filing a Petition 
4
Requesting Registration Status with the clerk of the court.  
5
Upon receipt of the Petition Requesting Registration Status, 
6
the clerk of the court shall provide notice to the parties and 
7
set the Petition for hearing pursuant to subsections (c) 
8
through (e) of this Section.".
