| line 5, after "5-102", by inserting "and adding Section |

| 5-102a"; and

| on page 11, immediately below line 29, by inserting the |

| following:

| Sec. 5-102a. No Civil Rights Violation: Public |
| 9 |
| Accommodations. It is not a civil rights violation for a |
| 10 |
| medical, dental, or other health care professional to refer or |
| 11 |
| to refuse to treat or provide services to an individual |
| 12 |
| protected under this Act for any non-discriminatory reason if, |
| 13 |
| in the normal course of his or her operations, the medical, |
| 14 |
| dental, or other health care professional would for the same |
| 15 |
| reason refer or refuse to treat or provide services to an |
| 16 |
| individual who is not protected under this Act and seeks or |
| 17 |
| requires the same or similar treatment or services.".
