AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 506

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 506 on page 1,

between lines 19 and 20, by inserting the following:

    "The trauma center shall report the required information 
5
for all individuals presenting with injury, regardless of 
6
length of stay in the emergency department or in the hospital. 
7
The information collected shall include length of stay and a 
8
description of the injury using the current version 
9
International Classification of Diseases, specifying the type 
10
of injury (in version ICD-9CM, "n-code") and the cause of 
11
injury (in version ICD-9CM, "e-code").".
