AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 339

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 339, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
4
1, as follows:

by replacing line 24 on page 1 through line 2 on page 2 with the 
6
following:

"shall be paid out of the County Juror Fund
county treasury.";

and

on page 2, line 4, by deleting "of no more than $10"; and
 
10
on page 2, line 6, after the period, by inserting the 
11
following:

"The county board must set an initial fee within 60 days after 
13
the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General 
14
Assembly. The county board may thereafter adjust the amount of 
15
the fee, but any increase must be justified by an acceptable 
16
cost study showing that the fee is not sufficient to cover the 
17
costs of juror fees.".
