<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>745 ILCS 49/67</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Good Samaritan Act. Provides that any person who provides first aid, in good faith and without fee, is exempt from a claim from the person aided for civil damages for any act or omission in providing the aid, except willful and wanton misconduct. (At present, the exemption from liability is limited to persons with a current certification in first aid issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.) Effective immediately.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
