<reference>110 ILCS 330/7 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>210 ILCS 85/6.22 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the University of Illinois Hospital Act and the Hospital Licensing Act. Provides that every hospital subject to either of the Acts must screen all patients admitted to the hospital for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Provides that if a patient tests positive for MRSA, the hospital must segregate that patient from patients who test negative for MRSA and must provide treatment to that patient.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
