Provides that the Chicago Park District is authorized to issue (now, issue before January 1, 2004) bonds in the amount of $128 million for museums, aquariums, and art museums under the control of the Chicago Park district. Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Fiscal Note (Dept. of Commerce & Econ Opportunity)</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Does not impact the State finances, rather it impacts the finances of the Chicago Park District, a unit of local government. The legislation removes a January 1, 2004 deadline to issue $128 million in bonds for museums, aquariums, and art museums under the control of the Chicago Park District. It is assumed that this charge will not impose a fiscal impact on the Chicago Park District that differentiates from the impact of current law, as only a date change is at issue. </SynopsisText></synopsis>
