<reference>735 ILCS 5/2-1120 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that there is a limitation on defamation actions that seek to recover damages for injury to reputation. Provides that there is no presumption of damage to reputation in a defamation action and that to recover damages for injury to reputation there must be proof of actual harm to the reputation of the plaintiff.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
