<reference>30 ILCS 168/20</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Tobacco Product Manufacturer's Escrow Act. Provides that a holding of unconstitutionality or the repeal of subdivision (2)(B) of the escrow provisions provided under Section 15 of the Act will not affect, impair, or invalidate any other portion of that Section (now, this severability provision only applies to subdivision (2)(B)(ii)). Effective immediately.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>Senate Committee Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
<SynopsisText>Further amends the Tobacco Product Manufacturer's Escrow Act. Deletes the substantive provisions of the bill as introduced. Provides that if a subdivision containing several alternative escrow release provisions is found unconstitutional, then the Public Act amending one of these multiple escrow release provisions shall be deemed repealed and escrow moneys shall be released as provided under the prior law.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
