<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>15 ILCS 15/50-6 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><reference>20 ILCS 3005/10 new</reference><aliasreference></aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the State Budget Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois and the Governor's Office of Management and Budget Act. Creates the performance-based budgeting pilot program. Defines "performance-based budgeting". Provides that the Governor's Office of Management and Budget shall select 3 State agencies to participate in the pilot program using performance-based budgeting models developed by the Office in consultation with the applicable House and Senate appropriation committees. Requires the Office to report to the General Assembly on the progress and success of the pilot program and on its recommendations for changes to or extensions of the pilot program. Provides that the Governor's recommended budget for the State fiscal year beginning July 1, 2006, shall be a performance-based budget for State agencies participating in the pilot program.
