Contains the text of the Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act approved by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, with various changes to conform the text of the new Act to other laws of this State. Sets forth the rights and remedies of parties to residential landlord-tenant relationships. Amends the Code of Civil Procedure, the Landlord and Tenant Act, the Security Deposit Return Act, the Retaliatory Eviction Act, the Rental Property Utility Service Act, and the Residential Tenants' Right to Repair Act to provide that various provisions either apply or do not apply to landlord-tenant relationships to which the new Act applies.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
