<reference>105 ILCS 5/17-2.11</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 17-2.11</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code. With respect to a school district's power to levy a tax and issue bonds for fire prevention, safety, energy conservation, disabled accessibility, school security, and specified repair purposes, authorizes a school district (other than the Chicago school district) to levy a tax and issue bonds if, as a result of substantial changes in traffic patterns or similar hazardous conditions, it is necessary to design and install new site improvements, including, but not limited to, traffic control signals, underpasses, overhead walkways, or road improvements.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
