Provides that the penalties for the illegal manufacture, delivery, possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, or possession of heroin may also be calculated on the amount of objects or segregated parts of objects containing heroin. Also provides that the penalties for the unlawful manufacture, delivery, and possession of heroin may also be based upon the number of objects intended to be segregated or derived from an object or objects. Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Requires that a sentence of imprisonment be imposed for a second or subsequent violation relating to the unlawful manufacture, delivery, possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, or possession of an amount of 5 or more objects or 5 or more segregated parts of an object or objects containing in them or having upon them any amounts of any substance containing heroin, or an analog thereof.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
