Provides that a person convicted of driving an uninsured motor vehicle, in addition to any other penalty imposed, shall have his or her driving privileges suspended for 90 days and until he or she has paid a reinstatement fee of $100. Provides that, if a person is convicted of driving an uninsured vehicle while his or her driving privileges are suspended for a similar violation, his or her driving privileges shall be suspended for an additional 180 days and until he or she pays the reinstatement fee.</SynopsisText><synopsistitle>House Amendment No. 1</synopsistitle>
