Provides that, if a person is convicted of driving an uninsured vehicle while his or her driving privileges are suspended for a similar violation, his or her driving privileges shall be suspended for an additional 180 days and until he or she pays the reinstatement fee.House Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to:625 ILCS 5/6-206Provides that the duration of a first suspension shall be 3 months (rather than 90 days). Provides that the previous suspension shall be extended an additional 6 months (rather than an additional 180 days) if the person drives an uninsured vehicle during the term of a previous suspension.
