<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>105 ILCS 5/2-3.25g</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 122, par. 2-3.25g</aliasreference><SynopsisText>     Amends the School Code. In provisions concerning the waiver of mandates within the School Code and administrative rules, provides that an approved waiver from or modification to a physical education mandate may remain in effect for a period not to exceed 2 (instead of 5) school years, and must not be renewed. Provides that, as long as physical education remains a part of the regular curriculum, however, a waiver from or modification to a physical education mandate that is approved before the effective date of the amendatory Act for a school that operates under a block schedule or for an alternative school that operates under an alternative schedule may remain in effect until the expiration of the already approved period and may be renewed one or more times for a period not to exceed 5 school years per renewal.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
